Zhejiang Normal University is a comprehensive provincial key university featuring teacher education.Formerly known as Hangzhou Normal College, it was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education on April 16, 1956.In 1958, it was upgraded to Hangzhou Normal University.In 1962, Hangzhou Normal University merged with Zhejiang Education College and Zhejiang Institute of Physical Education and changed its name to Zhejiang Normal University.
