The Siamese ape is distributed in Malaysia, Thailand, and Sumatra in Southeast Asia, inhabiting tropical rainforests and alpine forests.They are arboreal, mainly active during the day, and live in small groups of families.It is omnivorous and mainly eats fruits, leaves, flower buds and small animals.The life span of artificially raised Siamese apes can reach more than 30 years.
