The Elbe Sandstone Mountains, also known as the Elbe Sandstone Highlands, straddle the border between the southeastern German state of Saxony and the Czech Republic's North Bohemian region, with about 3/4 of it on the German side.In Germany and the Czech Republic, national parks have been established in relevant parts of this mountain range.
